Court Seeks Reply From Police Over Blasphemy Case Against PM Imran

The police did not submit a reply to an application to register a blasphemy case against Prime Minister Imran Khan. The application was put forward by a local court in Islamabad.

The petition filed by advocate Nasir Minhas said that the PM had used objectionable words against the Holy Prophet (PBUH) during a speech. He added that Imran Khan committed blasphemy but the police were not registering a case.

Additional District and Sessions Judge Muhammad Adnan Khan adjourned hearing of the case till December 20 while directed police to submit reply on the next hearing.
