'Spice Girls' Take Sunderland By Storm During Reunion Tour
As a steward/security person at the Stadium of Light in Sunderland, England, I got a spontaneous chance to see the 'Spice Girls' live concert on June 6, Thursday.

It was a fun-filled day, as 'Spice Girls' is targeted at all age groups and people from all walks of life, the stadium was filled with LGBT, families, couples and millennials.

Everyone was having drinks and waving their glow in the dark bracelets while singing along with the band. The 'Spice Girls' is an old band which formed in 1994, the group comprised of Melanie Brown, Melanie Chisholm, Emma Bunton, Geri Halliwell and Victoria Beckham.

It seemed like an eternity ago that Emma, Geri, Mel B and Mel C announced the 'Spice World' tour and it finally came to Sunderland. The band delivered a rocking performance. The ‘girls’ wore glamorous outfit which they changed several times during the concert. The band sang songs from their global bestselling album, 'SpiceWorld'. The entire crowd was dancing throughout the day, their excitement obvious with laughter and smiles.

At the concert there were 50,000 people expected to be spicing up their night and with an opening act by Jess Glyne, an English pop singer.  The best sing along song was with the songs 'Wannabe' and 'Say You Will Be There'. Towards the end the crowd went wild seeing the firework display.
