All staff members of the Government Primary School for Girls, in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP)'s Balakot city, were suspended over a nighttime music event organised by a group of youngster on the school's premises. The decision was taken by Deputy commissioner of Mansehra district Dr Qasim Ali Khan
He formed a committee headed by the assistant commissioner of Balakot, It includes officials of the education department who have been tasked to probe the matter.
Earlier, residents of the district had met the deputy commissioner in his office, seeking action against the school management and event organisers. The deputy commissioner told them that such musical events couldn’t be allowed in public sector schools and colleges, especially those for women.
