The police officials on Thursday arrested two suspects sexually assaulting a minor boy in Rawalpindi.
According to details, the 15 years-old student is a Pakistani-American dual national and came to the country to study one and a half years ago, Dawn reported. However, the local police have arrested two of the suspects while the third one is the run.
The incident happened when the main suspect who is a senior student studying at the same school, along with two others, sexually assaulted the boy after luring him for ice cream.
A case has been filed against the perpetrators under Sections 292, 34, 367A and 377 of the Pakistan Penal Code.
The assaulters made a video of the victim and then forwarded to other people. They later sent the video to the boy as well and tried to pressurize him once again. The victim then contacted the police and registered a case against them, the FIR stated.
DSP Cantt Sardar Babar Mumtaz said that medical examination of the boy has been completed and doctors will give a final opinion after DNA test is received.
The arrested suspects will appear in court for physical remand tomorrow.
