Musharraf Treason Verdict Challenged In Peshawar High Court

A petition has been filed in the Peshawar High Court against the Special Court verdict awarding death sentence to former president Pervez Musharraf in high treason case. The petition challenges the constitutional act related to high treason. The petitioner has maintained that the high treason Act does not apply to former president Pervez Musharraf's case because he did not commit any unconstitutional step.
