The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government has been heavily criticised on social media after the bodies of three children were recently recovered from Kasur area of Punjab. Famous cricketer Shahid Afridi also lashed out at the government for its negligence.
According to details, a new case of child abuse and murder has surfaced in Kasur. The city first gained national and international attention after the Zainab murder case and busting of a child pornography ring by police.
Shahid Afridi took to twitter and lambasted the government. While addressing Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan, he said, “The time has come to establish a Madina like state.”
He said it was hurtful seeing what was happening in Sindh and Punjab. Questioning the competence of government officials in Punjab, Afridi said, “Don’t you have an experienced person in your team?”
He further said that child sex offenders were hanged till death in the state of Madina, adding that the time has come to do the same here.
