Pakistan People's Party (PPP) Senator Mustafa Nawaz Khokar has announced that he would give up his membership of the Islamabad Bar Association to protest its notice asking members to declare their faith. He said that he was saddened to be put under the spotlight to prove his faith. In a tweet reacting to the Islamabad Bar Association notice seeking an affidavit from its members to declare their faith, the PPP lawmaker said that Jinnah's Pakistan remains a distant dream.
