Karachi Police Official Arrested For Allegedly Working For RAW
The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has arrested a suspected member of a cell headed by Indian Intelligence Agency RAW, who was working as an Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) in Karachi Police.

Geo News quoted FIA officials as saying that the suspected RAW agent was working as an Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) in the special branch of the police. He is also said to be a key member of the RAW's sleeper cell.
Further, the FIA officials stated that the suspect was performing surveillance duties at the Karachi Airport when he was busted and subsequently arrested.

He was recruited in Sindh Police in 1991 and was also part of MQM’s London group. He had been aiding his partners at the airport also had a role in targeted killings and terror activities in the city.

The FIA also said that the suspect had gone to India in 2008 for training purposes.

Last month, another Karachi police official was detained for allegedly working for the Indian intelligence agency. The accused named Shehzad Pervaiz was also working as ASI and had been taken into custody from Gulistan-e-Jauhar area of Karachi.
