Families of the victims of Army Public School (APS) attack held a protest outside the Peshawar Press Club against the alleged escape of former Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) spokesman Ehsanullah Ehsan. The protest was led by Shuhada APS Forum President Advocate Fazal Khan.
The protesters chanted slogans against the escaped militant. Urging the government to investigate the matter, they demanded answers about Ehsanullah Ehsan's escape.
Addressing the protest, Advocate Fazal Khan said that the news of escape has created a sense of deprivation among the APS victims. He also criticised the government for its silence.
Fazal Khan asked as to how a terrorist can escape from a highly-guarded and red zone area? "It’s a good joke,” he said.
While addressing the protesters, Khan said that the grieving parents have been struggling for justice but the government has refused
The victims' parents said that news of Ehsan's escape had reopened their wounds of losing their children to terrorists.
