Journalist Mubasher Lucman and Irshad Bhatti shared a propaganda picture of an underprivileged boy drinking unhygienic water, falsely claiming it to be from Tharparkar. The picture was previously used on Indian media, while some claim it to be from Africa.
The journalists shared the picture to criticise the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) government over the poor condition of the area.

On Monday, Mubasher Lucman shared the photo on Twitter, claiming the area to be Tharparkar Sindh in the ‘21st century’. However, originally the photo was taken either in India or Africa. In both the cases, the picture shared is not from Tharparkar as suggested by the senior journalists.
A few hours later on the same day, journalist Irshad Bhatti shared the same picture on Twitter, saying that PPP has spent Rs 104 billion to provide such polluted water to the people of Sindh.
