Chief of Army Staff Gen Qamar Javed Bajwa rendered Pakistan’s assistance to Australian Vice Chief of Defence Forces Vice Admiral David Johnston to cope with massive bush fires in Australia that took the lives of millions of species.
According to a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), matters of mutual interest and regional security were also discussed during the meeting at General Headquarters (GHQ).
The visiting dignitary praised the Pakistan Army’s role in safeguarding peace and stability in the region and thanked the COAS for sentiments towards Australia.
