Last week, India launched air strikes in Balakot region and claimed that it had targeted a training camp of the Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM). However, Pakistan had denied that India had hit any “militant camp” and had asked for evidence. Many in India have also asked the Modi government to provide evidence of the presence of militants at the targeted site as it had lead to the escalation of tensions between two rival nuclear countries, and also threatened peace in the region.
During the Sunday's rally, Modi said that "now they have even started asking for proof of the Air Strike. Why are Congress and its allies demoralizing our forces? Why are they giving statements which are benefiting our enemies?"

People at the both sides of the border have accused Modi of exploiting Pulwama attack in Kashmir in order to win general elections, which are to be held by May this year.
In the wake of Modi's address in Patna, #CowardModiSpreadingLies is also a trending topic on Twitter in Pakistan.
