Following Jamiat Ulema-e Islam – Fazal (JUI-F) leader Maulanan Fazl-ur-Rehman’s call to stop Aurat March 2020, by hook or by crook, the JUI-F members in Islamabad tore down the Aurat March posters on Sunday.
Awami Workers Party (AWP) Punjab President Ammar Rashid shared a picture on his Twitter handle, claiming that the members of JUI-F, in compliance with the orders of their leader, have torn down the posters of Aurat March in Islamabad.

The picture showed that an individual affiliated with JUI-F has been claiming that members of religio-political party have successfully torn down the ‘foreign funded’ Aurat March posters in broad daylight. The social media user further asked everyone to play their part in stopping the ‘obscenity’.
Aurat March has been facing severe backlash from religious groups in the country since the organisers have announced publicly that they would take streets on March 8, despite the intimidation.
