Actor Hamza Ali Abbasi has said on Saturday, that he has not quit acting and he will work in films and dramas that are directed within the boundaries of Islam.
Journalist and writer Mahwash Ajaz tweeted on Saturday, “really wish Hamza hadn’t quit acting.” In response, Hamza said that he has not quit acting as he has not found anywhere in Islam that acting is prohibited. The actor said he had only taken a long break from acting so that he could learn more about Islam. “In Sha Allah will make and maybe act in projects made within boundaries Allah has set,” he added.

Last year, Hamza Ali Abbasi had announcement to quit showbiz in order to focus more on religion and ‘talk more about Allah’. He had vowed to talk about Allah and religion through every medium. He had also expressed his desire to produce a movie or drama in the future, that will primarily focus on Islam.
Meanwhile, his long-awaited project The Legend of Maula Jatt is set to release on Eid-ul-Fitr 2020. Moreover, the fans will also witness Fawad Afzal Khan, Mahira Khan, Gohar Rasheed, and Humaima Malik in the upcoming movie as lead actors.
