On Saturday, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) MPA, Rana Arif Iqbal was also tested positive for Covid-19 and has also reportedly isolated himself at home.
Unfortunately, his wife and four children are also infected by the virus.
Earlier in May, Speaker of National Assembly, Asad Qaiser also tested positive and self-quarantined himself.
He also tweeted that he has tested positive and the whole nation should be taking preventive measures in these crucial times and that he will be self-isolating at home.
Imran Ismail, the Governor of Sindh has also tested positive last month and said that he will be fighting the disease courageously.
“I believe this is nothing against what we are prepared for,” he tweeted.
Rana Hameez Singh, who is also MPA Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) announced that he had been in contact with Abdul Rasheed, Jamaat-e-Islami MPA who also got tested positive after him.
