A student hailing from Bajaur, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa province, has been awarded a gold medal in Physics by Peshawar's Islamia College University.
Fatima Iqbal's achievement is being celebrated as a matter of pride for students in Bajaur, which was formerly part of the Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA). She became the first student hailing from Bajaur to receive the medal.
Her achievement was recognized at an awards ceremony by Dr. Naushad Khan, the pro-vice chancellor of Islamia College University, Peshawar.
