Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa called Railways Minister Sheikh Rasheed on Friday and asked him to rest for two complete weeks for a full recovery from the coronavirus.
The minister was released from Combined Military Hospital (CMH) on Friday after remaining admitted there for two weeks.
The COAS inquired Rasheed about his health and facilitated him on 'defeating the infection' caused by the virus. He also asked him about the arrangements at the hospital during his treatment.
Reciprocating, the railways minister thanked Gen Bajwa and told him that he would always be thankful for him for reaching out to him. He further said that the arrangements at the hospital were exemplary and that he is also thankful to the doctors who provided treatment to him.
