PML-N leader Hamza Shahbaz, after spending 20 months in custody, has finally been released from jail. He had been convinced in a case pertaining to money laundering.
Upon verification of surety bonds deposited by the PML-N leader, accountability court's duty judge Akmal Khan issued Hamza Shahbaz’s release order.
His release is being celebrated by both PMLN leadership and the party supporters. 12 camps have been set up across Lahore to welcome him, reported Geo News.
A rally is being held to bring him home from the jail. Many of PML-N workers played drums and danced for hours outside the jail awaiting his release.
PMLN Vice President Maryam Nawaz was also present outside the jail to welcome her cousin back.
