Pakistan People's Party chairperson Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari has stated that the prime minister should stop playing with the lives of his political rivals.
Speaking at a news conference after inaugurating a campus of NED University, the Pakistan People’s Party chairperson asked Prime Minister Imran Khan to provide best health facilities for the Nawaz Sharif, which he stated was his fundamental right.
According to a report in Dawn, Bilawal stated that if anything happened to Nawaz Sharif, Imran and his cronies would be held responsible.
The PPP chairman also expressed concern about the former prime minister’s health. In his comments, he was also critical of the fact that Maryam Nawaz was not allowed to stay with Nawaz Sharif at the hospital.
Bilawal stated that even under the laws of the United Nations, political leaders who were sick had the right to get treatment, but the ‘Niazi government had unleased the worst political vindictiveness just to perpetuate its rule’.
He further said that the government of Imran Khan was fascist, and believed in politically victimising all those who had faith in democratic values.
Regarding the treatment meted out to opposition politicians, Bilawal opined that Asif Zardari and Nawaz Sharif were facing cruelty by the PM as they had not accepted Imran Khan as the elected and true representative of masses.
The PPP chairman further said that the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf had caused damage to the national economy, due to which thousands of people had lost their jobs.
