Afghan Girl Kills 2 Taliban After They Murder Her Parents
A teenager Afghan girl, Qamar Gul, has shot dead two Taliban terrorists and wounded several others after they killed her parents for ‘supporting’ the Afghan government.

International news outlets have reported that insurgents in Afghanistan’ central province of Ghor stormed the home of Qamar Gul last week looking for her father, the village chief, before shooting her parents. Gul, who is reportedly aged between 14 and 15, then emerged from the house with her family's AK-47 and opened fire, killing the two Taliban terrorists who had gunned down her mother and father.

The reports quoted local police chief Habiburahman Malekzada as saying that Gul’s father was a government supporter, which is why the Taliban fighters went to his house and dragged him out to kill him and when his wife resisted, they killed her too.

The report further claimed that several other Taliban members later came to attack her house again, but some villagers and pro-government militiamen expelled them after a gunfight.

Afghan security forces have now taken Gul and her younger brother to a safer place, said Mohamed Aref Aber, spokesman to the provincial governor. Since the incident, mainstream and social media platforms have been flooded with praise for Gul's 'heroic' act.
