Prime Minister Imran Khan has said that Pakistan was founded on the basis of the Islamic ideology, and the country would not survive if it deviates from it.
“It is unfortunate that we have forgotten the ideology of Pakistan. We must strive to replicate the state of Madinah and take Pakistan back to its roots. If we deviate from the Islamic ideologies we were built upon, we won’t survive,” PM Khan said while speaking at the inauguration of the Sehat card programme.

Khan said that the biggest dilemma faced by government institutions was the system of punishment and relief. He said until and unless the system was not strengthened, government institutions will continue to work the way they are.
“The entire Sharif family flies abroad for medical treatments. The Prophet (PBUH) said that those nations who treat the poor and the rich differently face destruction,” he said. He also took jabs at opposition parties saying that no matter how much they protest, ‘each of every single one of the corrupt people will be held accountable’.
