Federal Minister for Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony Noorul Haq Qadri questioned Pakistan Muslim League - Nawaz (PML-N)'s loyalty to Khatm-e-Nabuwwat by criticising the party for allowing execution of Mumtaz Qadri, former Punjab governor Salmaan Taseer's killer.
He expressed these views while addressing the National Assembly session summoned for a debate on the matter of expelling French ambassador from Pakistan.
Speaking to Naya Daur Media after the session, PML-N leader Ahsan Iqbal demanded the minister's resignation for questioning faith of other lawmakers. He added that it was the same mindset of which he became a target.
