76-Year-Old Malakand Man Pursuing BA Degree After Passing FA

A 76-year-old man in Malakand, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has decided to pursue a Bachelors programme after completing his Intermediate degree this year.

Syed Muhammad Khan, who is a retired Islamiat teacher, said he taught at a local school for 60 years after his Matriculation in 1962, but he now wanted to study further, reported Independent Urdu.

He said that he'd approached the vice-chancellor of the Malakand University for admission and was hopeful to pursue his studies at the varsity. According to Khan, he is an avid reader and made sure his daughter also complete their higher studies.

Speaking about his plans after the Bachelors, he said he wanted to work in the government, but if it couldn't happen for some reason, he would love to teach at any private school.

Khan is a widower, who lives with one of his four daughters. He said after the death of his wife, he doesn't have anyone to look after him or the house, but still, this has not dampened his desire for education.
