PPP Leader Says Govt Faking Coronavirus Deaths To Get WHO Grants
Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leader Nabil Gabol has said that government was faking the coronavirus deaths because it signed an agreement with World Health Organisation (WHO), under which the affected family would get $ 3,000 per casualty by the international health body.

The PPP leader gave these remarks in his interview to journalist Adil Abbasi on his show. “Those who died from kidney issues and heart attack are also being counted in coronavirus death toll. This is happening because the affected family will get $ 3,000 from WHO,” he said.

He even went on to say that WHO has signed the said agreement with all the coronavirus-hit countries, not only with Pakistan.

Earlier, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Khurram Sherzaman had alleged that PPP-led government in Sindh was faking and manipulating the covod-19 death toll of the province.

The deadly coronavirus has claimed 733 lives in Pakistan, while 8,812 patients have recovered successfully and have been discharged from the hospitals.

The national tally of coronavirus confirmed cases has risen to 32,979, with the provincial governments of Punjab, Sindh, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Balochistan confirming 11,868, 12,610, 5,021, 2,158 cases respectively. Meanwhile, 475 cases in Gilgit-Baltistan, 759 in Islamabad, and 88 in Kashmir have been reported to date.
