BOL TV has apologised for showing a logo of beverage company Murree Brewery, which also manufactures alcoholic drinks, during a Ramzan transmission. The logo appeared on the screen when the channel was crediting the sponsors of its Ramzan transmission. Danish Taimur, popular actor and Ramzan telecast host said, "Murree Brewery is a juice making company and their juice by the name of TOPs is one of our sponsors."
He added, "We, as Muslims cannot even think of showing anything offensive in the month of Ramzan, but if anyone was hurt out of that image, we apologise."
Taimur also further asked his audience that why would we display anything alcoholic at the time of Iftaar, that is impossible.

Earlier, twitterati had gone berserk after seeing the famous Pakistani brewery's logo on a Ramzan transmission on Danish Taimur's show. People were offended and trolled the channel at their hypocrisy.
