UK PM Boris Johnson Released From Hospital After Coronavirus Treatment

The UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson has been released from the hospital after coronavirus treatment.

He had spent three nights in intensive care unit (ICU).

The PM would continue his recovery at his country residence.

“On the advice of his medical team, the PM will not be immediately returning to work. He wishes to thank everybody at St Thomas’ for the brilliant care he has received. All of his thoughts are with those affected by this illness”, quoted the BBC NEWS.

Those close to the PM hailed the fact that he had recovered.

The prime minister’s fiancee, Carrie Symonds, who is expecting a baby, said on Twitter: “Thank you also to everyone who sent such kind messages of support. Today I’m feeling incredibly lucky.” Trade Secretary Liz Truss tweeted: “Delighted to hear PM is out of hospital and now recuperating.”
