Hero From Balochistan Province Saves Lives Of Around 100 People In Heavy Snowfall
A local hero Suleman Khan has emerged in the Kachlak area of Quetta, after he saved the lives of more than 100 people stranded due to snow which blocked roads in the region.

The Quetta-Zhob highway had been closed due to heavy snowfall in parts of Balochistan: including Kachlak, Kan Mehtarzai, Ziarat Cross and Khanozai. Travelers on these roads, including families, got trapped due to the snow that piled up along the route. Stranded without proper shelter, sources of warmth or food, these citizens faced a grave danger from the inclement weather.

30-year-old Suleman Khan, owner of a Toyota SUV, took up the task of rescuing those trapped in the snowy roads. He personally drove many to safety and even offered them food, shelter and safety in his own home. Pregnant women, various patients and children were his first priority in this one-man rescue effort.

Suleman Khan even paid for fuel and vehicle repairs for those who needed it.

In his own words,

“I did everything for the will of God. I saw that people who were stuck by the avalanche and had I not helped them, they probably wouldn’t have returned alive.”
