Detained Islamabad Protesters Denied Bail In Sedition Case
An additional session judge has denied bail to activists who were arrested on Tuesday for holding a protest against arrest of Pashtun Tahaffuz Movement (PTM) chief Manzoor Pashteen.

The detained protesters were charged with sedition under sections 188, 186, 147, 149, 505A, 505B, 341, 353, 124A. Those in custody include Awami Workers Party (AWP) leader Ammar Rashid and activist Nawfal Saleemi among others.

On Tuesday, several activists who were gathered at the Press Club in Islamabad to protest Manzoor Pashteen’s detention were arrested by the police. Those arrested included MNA Mohsin Dawar, who was later released after midnight along with other detainees.
