PTI Leader Who Allegedly Violated His Driver Becomes HR Focal Person

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Iftikhar Ahmed Loond who allegedly violated his driver has been appointed as HR focal person for the province of Sindh.
According to a notification issued by the Ministry of Human Rights, Loond who hails from Ghtoki was appointed as Human Rights focal person.
According to the said notification, Iftikhar Loond will assist the office of the federal minister on the issues of human rights while keeping liaison with relevant stakeholders after consultation with the minister’s office.
“This will be purely on a voluntary basis and shall entail no expense or liability on the part of the ministry of human rights,” the notification added.
Human rights activists including lawyer Jibran Nasir took to Twitter expressing their disregard towards the ministry’s decision.

Loond was accused of torturing his driver Allah Rakhiyo in Ghotki, Sindh. The alleged incident involved three of Loond’s cousins who tortured Allah Rakhiyo.
