“The nutritional values of mango are in abundance, from vitamins to minerals to antioxidants. It’s a harmless (unless you are allergic) and natural approach to use mangoes to care for and maintain healthy skin. So, what’s so healthy about a mango?,” the model wrote in the post accompanying the video.
We all are aware of the benefits of applying lemon to the skin. Lemon juice is great for combating tan due to the fruit’s rich vitamin C content and mangoes are also rich in this vital vitamin.
“Vitamin C – this important vitamin reduces the damage induced by the sun’s UV rays, although it’s not a sunscreen, it protects against free radicals. Administering vitamin C topically (through the skin) has a better effect for this than taking it orally. It can likewise reduce inflammation caused by acne and lighten the skin,” she added.
The model also said that mangoes are a good source of Vitamin E, which aids in anti-aging process and helps reduce fine lines on the face.
