The case registered against journalist Shahzeb Jilani by FIA is the latest instance of intimidation meant to silent dissent. He has been indicted by the FIA on charges including cyber-terrorism, hate speech and defamation. Several other journalists critical of the state’s policies have treason cases filed against them.
