Pakistan’s MMA fighter Mehmosh Raza has responded to Indian fighter Muhammad Farhad’s challenge for a bout at Brave Combat Federation in 2019.

At Brave’s debut in Pakistan last year in October, Mehmosh defeated opponent Arben Escayo in the first round via Guillotine choke. After earning Brave’s fastest submission finish accolade, he demanded a fight with an Indian opponent saying that it was what fans from both countries needed.

The post-fight interview caugh Indian fighter Muhammad Farhad’s attention, who challenged Mehmosh to a bout. While not officially done, Mehmosh has accepted the challenge and both fighters are itching for a showdown.

Mehmosh took to Instagram and said that “Pakistan and India rivalry is something that is always going to be a fan favourite. I think (MMA) is one of the few positive things happening between the two countries at the moment.

“They say he is a knock-out artist, but I do believe that I have the recipe of beating him and I don’t have a shadow of doubt in my mind about that. I just got to have some patience, my time will come.”

India’s Mohammad Farhad says he wants to fight Mehmosh

Last week, India’s Mohammad Farhad, who has three bouts under the Brave banner (with two wins and one loss), stepped forward and said he was willing to take the fight against Pakistan’s rising star.

Through his personal social media accounts, India’s Farhad has challenged Raza to a fight in the first semester of this year.
