In this video, Raza Rumi analyzes the threats and risks to democracy. After two successful democratic transitions, the third one faces numerous challenges of curbs on media freedom role of institutions and a weakened civil society. It is thought-provoking that even after completing two democratic the start of the third one is risked with a state of paralysis of the parliament, with no legislation in the first 100 days and the opposition leader of the house is in jail. These are issues that are ignored by the mainstream media when they should be the focus of our debates so that Pakistan can progress.
