Although the airport in Walton, Lahore is not in use anymore, it was once the main airport in the provincial capital where both general public and dignitaries arriving in Lahore would land. The airport is still home to VIP 1, which was Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah's personal hanger. The space is now used for aviation training.
