Domestic Helper Arrested For Raping Child To Death In Muzaffargarh
The police have arrested a man who killed his employer’s six-year-old child after raping him in Muzaffargarh.

DAWN reported that District Police Officer (DPO) Syed Nadeem Abbas said that the child, Abdul Hadi, went missing from his house on May 25. His father Abdul Sattar desperately searched for the child and found his body.

The family complained to the Daira Din Pannah police who registered a case against unidentified suspects. Subsequently, the DPO constituted a team led by Kot Addu Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Syed Ejaz Bukhari to trace the perpetrators and police finally arrested suspect Tahir Shah who worked as servant at Sattar’s house.

During the police interrogation, Tahir confessed to killing the child after raping him.

Last week, six men had allegedly gang-raped a disabled 14-year-old girl in Punjab’s Chakwal district. The victim’s mother had filed the first information report (FIR) against the ‘unknown men’ in a local police station. The FIR stated that an unknown man invaded her home and sexually abused her disabled daughter.

The mother said that the man invaded her home on the night of May 26 and fled when one of her daughters woke up. “My daughter, who is 14 years old and is deaf and dumb, told me that she was raped by six men, including the man who entered my house, [at] different times.”
