The Education Department officials have been directed to sure the attendance of all teaching/ non-teaching (both male and female) staff today (August 15) outside the main gate of Governor’s House at 3.30 pm.
The rally is organised to mark India’s Independence Day as Black Day to protest the decision to revoke Article 370, depriving the Indian-held Kashmir of its autonomous status. This message has been sent to the heads of all government schools on Monday morning.
All the deputy district education officers (DDEO), assistant district education officers (AEOs), principals and head teachers have been told strictly comply with the directions as not a single person will be exempted for national cause.
It is said that attendance sheets will be submitted to the officials concerned after the rally.
