Pakistani Commando Bags Gold At International Shooting Competition
A Pakistani commando, belonging to the Special Security Unit Sindh, has won a gold medal for Pakistan in the Asian International Defensive Pistol Association Cup (IDPA) held in Bangkok.

According to Propakistani.pk, the event consisted of more than 100 shooters from 10 Asian countries. The competition was organised in collaboration with China, Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, and Macau.

Arsalan Anwar from Sindh won the gold medal for Pakistan in the competition. Reportedly, he hit 118 targets in 6.16 minutes in the final round of practical shooting.

Arsalan also secured third position in the international category.

Another Pakistani participant, Commando Abdul Shakoor secured the third position in the Marksman category. Shakoor also belongs to the Special Security Unit (SSU) Sindh.

Meanwhile, SSU Commandant Maqsood Ahmed expressed his congratulations to the commandoes for their achievement.

Ahmed urged the police workforce to acquire skills, techniques and stamina. He added that SSU was paying maximum attention to providing modern training and improving the professional capabilities of its commandoes.
