The official guards and private ‘goons’ of KP additional inspector police (AIG) have allegedly tried to forcibly occupy land in Rawalpindi Cantonment.
Geo News reporter Asif Chaudhry tweeted a post, saying that the guards and ‘goons’ of KP AIG have attempted to forcibly possess a piece of land at Rawalpindi Cantt’s Haider road.

The journalists said that Rawalpindi police acted promptly and arrested two constables of KP police, named Gul Sarwar and Touseef, along with official Kalashnikovs.
Last month, three KP police officers were arrested for torturing and parading an accused man, Amir Tehkaley, naked in Peshawar’s police station, following a video that went viral on social media wherein it can be seen that the police officers were beating a man and tearing apart his clothes to parade him naked in the police station.
Later, Amir attempted suicide two times out of depression. “A friend of Amir has told Mehmood Jan [TV reporter] that he has tried to commit suicide twice today and we stopped him and took his gun away. Government officials need to visit his family and arrange a psychiatrist for poor guy to get [him] out of this trauma,” Arshad Afridi, a KP-based political activist said.
