Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman has announced that the opposition MNAs and MPAs will submit their resignations from the assemblies on December 31.
The announcement comes a day after the PDM’s power show at Minar-e-Pakistan, Lahore.
Fazl further said that the government has until January 31 to resign, adding that if the government does not comply, the PDM will announce a long march to Islamabad on February 1.
The PDM chief was flanked by Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal-Bhutto Zardari and Pakistan Muslim League - N (PMLN) Vice President Maryam Nawaz.
