Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) has reportedly written a blunt response to the show cause letter issued to it by Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) by the alliance's General Secretary Shahid Khaqan Abbasi.
The News quoted sources as saying that the PPP drafted a 'strongly worded' response on the directives of Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari who has received it and will get it approved from the party's Central Executive Committee (CEC). The meeting of the CEC is to take place on April 11 in Karachi.
It would be decided in the meeting if the answer is to be sent to the PDM formally or through press conference following the CEC meeting. A PPP leader was quoted by The News as saying that the CEC would decide if the response has to be stronger or with a measured tone. Another option is to reply in a way similar to ANP, the source added.
