Dunya TV has apologized to journalist and PM Imran Khan’s former wife Reham Khan for airing allegations against her whereby she was accused of receiving money from Shehbaz Sharif in return for writing her autobiography in which she had made some startling claims about Imran Khan.
Reham Khan had sued the channel in London, UK, requesting the court to take legal action adding that the false allegations had damaged her reputation.
“Dunya TV accepted that Reham Khan has not received any payments from Shehbaz Sharif or anyone from Pakistan Muslim League – N (PML-N) for her work”, her lawyer stated in a video message released on social media.
“I am glad that justice has prevailed. It took me a long legal battle to prove that I was defamed by Dunya and several others,” Reham said.
