The Pakistani embassy in Afghanistan has made special provisions for Afghans intending to travel to Pakistan for medical treatment.
According to a notification issued by the Pakistani embassy in Kabul, the embassy would specially accommodate Afghans wishing to travel to Pakistan for medical treatment.
The decision has been made considering the severe cold persisting currently in the region. According to the notification, Afghan patients need not visit the embassy and their attendants may visit the embassy with the documents. Moreover, patients along with one attendant would be given a visa on medical grounds.

This is the second measure in recent times intended to improve relations between Pakistan and Afghanistan.
