The Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa will meet a high-level delegation of Pakistani businessman today.
The purpose of the meeting is for the businessmen to inform the army chief of the problems being faced by the business community.
The meeting is being held at a time when the economy is suffering and Pakistan is seeking avenues for investment.
The army chief is part of the National Development Council formed by Prime Minister Imran Khan with the aim of increasing economic growth and improving coordination among the provinces and the federation.
In August, General Bajwa had said that Pakistan was going through difficult times and that he had witnessed the country’s heyday.

According to reports in media, the delegation would apprise General Bajwa of the problems that are obstructing the flow of investment into Pakistan.
