A Pakistani student from coronavirus-hit Wuhan city of China, Arsalan Amin, has return to Karachi. As a precautionary measure, he has been admitted to a private hospital.
According to the provincial health department, Arsalan will be kept in the isolation ward for 14 days. The authorities have taken a sample of the student’s bodily fluid which will be sent to Islamabad for tests related to corona-virus.
Meanwhile, a number of Pakistani students stranded in the affected city have appealed to the government of Pakistan to assist them. In a video released on social media, they lamented that the Pakistan Embassy in China is refusing to provide them any help.
