A blast took place near the Israeli embassy in New Delhi damaging a few vehicles, Indian media reported. The site of the attack was sealed off and police personnel were deployed there to secure the area.
India Today reported that no injuries had occurred and the blast took place at 5:05 pm (local time).
"A very low-intensity improvised device went off at 5:05pm near 5 APJ Abdul Kalam Road near Jindal house. No injury to any person is there and nor any damage to property was witnessed, except window panes of three vehicles parked nearby," the police reported.
