Several members of the PTI have demanded removal of Sindh Governor Imran Ismail saying that he did not “consult with the stakeholders” for the Senate elections.
PTI Sindh members expressed their dissatisfaction with the governor at a meeting which was attended by party leaders Gul Muhammad Rind, Liaquat Jatoi, Mumtaz Shah among several others. The meeting was held at the residence of Gul Muhammad Rind.
The statement regarding Governor Ismail’s removal read that due to his “poor strategy” PTI candidates lost in the Malir, Sanghar, and Tharparkar by-polls.
Further, complaints against the governor said that he hasn’t performed satisfactorily and has been unable to implement Prime Minister Imran Khan Khan’s manifesto in Sindh,
