The series will include Emraan Hashmi in the lead role, who will play a RAW agent who puts together a team to save four Indian spies captured in Balochistan.
After the trailer was released, Pakistani social media users criticised the show and Shah Rukh Khan for being problematic considering the current tensions between the two South Asian archrivals.
One of the critics was the director general of Inter-Services Public Relations, Asif Ghafoor, who asked the king of Bollywood to consider the reality whereby Indian spy Kulbushan Yadav was captured.
He asked the actor to promote peace and humanity and speak against the atrocities in Indian-occupied Kashmir and the Hindutva ideology prevalent in India.

Meanwhile, Pakistani Twitterati were highly critical of the movie. Recently, the Indian show Sacred Games was also slammed for its anti-Pakistani plotline.
A Twitter user compared Indian expectations of their armed forces and the actual reality wherein Indian pilot Abhinandan was captured.

On a more serious note, one Pakistani user was of the view that India should rather make a show on Pehlu Khan. Pehlu Khan was a farmer in Haryana, who was lynched in 2017 by cow vigilantes.
