According to reports on social media, a sexual assault allegedly took place on the premises of National University of Science and Technology (NUST) in Islamabad.
A social media user tweeted about reports of a sexual assault on the premises of a campus at one of the biggest universities in Islamabad. She added that the administration was trying to bury the matter by silencing students who were demanding an investigation. She added in a subsequent tweet that last summer, a similar incident occurred and the victim had been silenced.

Another user made a similar tweet and said that students from the university who attended to discuss the matter should avoid naming the institution as they had signed a non-defamatory clause.
