'Judiciary Ruining Its Reputation By Facilitating PTI'

Many leaders of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), who are accused in May 9 cases and are in prison, are also trying to submit their nomination papers, but the state will not allow the PTI ‘terrorist wing’ to contest elections.

While speaking at a program on Naya Daur TV, senior analyst Muzamal Suharwardy said that former prime minister Imran Khan is now out of parliamentary politics. He added that Imran Khan will be sentenced to life imprisonment in a cipher case before January 10, 2024.

The analyst said that Awami National Party (ANP) chief Aimal Wali Khan has warned the Peshawar High Court chief justice to stop facilitating the PTI; otherwise, his party will initiate a movement against the PHC and its chief justice.

Suharwardy said that the judiciary is ruining its reputation by facilitating the PTI.

While responding to a question, the analyst said that several political parties are seeking amendments to the election schedule to please Army Chief General Asim Munir, as he had stated that the election could be delayed by 8–10 days.
