PM Imran Says He Knows History Of Uzbekistan More Than Uzbeks
Addressing the Pakistan-Uzbekistan Business Forum in Tashkent, Prime Minister Imran Khan said that the railway project among Pakistan, Uzbekistan and Afghanistan will bring development in the region. He emphasised on the need for peace and security in the region to exploit its potential.

He further said that Pakistan and Uzbekistan should be connected by road, rail and air.

While commenting on the investment opportunities in Pakistan, the prime minister said that a market of 220 million people in Pakistan is present for Uzbekistan to carry out economic development and investment. He added that Pakistan's seaports could be serve as Uzbekistan’s cheapest trade link with Middle East and Europe, adding that Islamabad was ready to help Uzbek trade through these ports.

Talking about Pakistan's cultural relations with Uzbekistan, Imran Khan said that this relationship is centuries old. He added that he knew the history of Uzbekistan more than Uzbeks.
